Record book bears have been shot in this area in the recent past. Our spring bear hunts are conducted in a variety of ways, depending on what you desire.
We offer 2 on 1 or 1 on 1 "spot and stalk" hunts as well as hunts using hounds. To access our vast area we use 4x4 and ATVs.
Our bears range in color. Most of the bears are black, some are brown, cinnamon, and the odd blond.
These hunts are conducted beginning around April 25th and right through to June 15th. A fall bear/deer combo hunt is available from September 10th through to October 10th. All hunts will run 6 full days, not including travel days.
